We are very excited for
Our Teen Fall Retreat 2021!
Fall Retreat is Twin Lakes… It’s the covered bridge and the leaves reflecting off the water… It’s 210 acres of God’s creative splendor! It’s canoes and paddle boats… It’s human foosball… It’s the 1200ft long zipline! It’s crazy messy service games…  It’s the midnight capture the flag… a bonfire… roasted hotdogs and so much smore;) IT IS A BLAST!
Above all it is a retreat. It is a retreat into the Word of God. We go away with the sole focus of hearing what the LORD would say to our hearts. Twin lakes has become a special place because of all that God has done there. This is such a special time of year and it truly cannot be replaced. The theme this year is “DRAWN”. I believe the LORD is drawing us all into something truly divine… Something out of this world! Bring a friend! Be a part! Don’t miss out!

Where is it Held?

Fall Retreat will be held at Twin Lakes Retreat Center in Hillsboro, IN. This is about an hour and a half west of Greenfield. Check out the camp at the following link: Twin Lakes Camp

What does it cost?

The cost for this retreat is $40 dollars per person. This is due prior to leaving on the 30th. This covers your meal Friday evening, the one night of lodging, breakfast and lunch on Saturday, a themed shirt, ziplining and all other activities. The only additional cost is money for food on the way home.

When do we leave?

We will be meeting at the church @ 4:30pm on Friday, October 29th. We will have dinner here and get everything loaded and then we will leave at 5:00pm sharp. We plan to be back between 9:30 and 10:00 pm on Saturday the 30th. Make sure to dress for service because we will be heading straight into our first service upon arrival!

What About Safety?

As always safety is our top priority. We want to keep our young people safe physically as well as spiritually. As with any activity outside of the home there is always a risk of contracting COVID-19 and there are many different perspectives and opinions as to what precautions are absolutely necessary in preventing it’s spread. We want everyone attending Fall Retreat 2021 to be comfortable with the level of precaution being taken. We will be pursuant of cleanliness in every environment as much as possible. As a church, we do want all attending to know that we will NOT be mandating masks, nor will we be asking for proof of vaccination. We deem these to be personal choices to be made by each individual. It is upon the parental guardian to decide whether these precautions and or other precautions are necessary for your child and to direct them as such. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact our Youth Pastor, Joseph Wood, at 317-498-0819.
